Sneh comes with over 15 years of experience in the Retail lending space. She has served as the Head of Credit and Collections for a significant part of her career overseeing the micro & rural finance business which accounted for 75% of the bank’s portfolio.

She joined Ujjivan as a Management Trainee and spent the initial 3 years as a financial analyst- working on equity raise, business performance analysis, budgeting and managing RBI relationship and compliance. Subsequently moved on to learn and manage credit as the Regional Credit Manager for Southern region.

Her expertise lies in building a sophisticated Credit Infrastructure to manage high volume Unsecured business. Has hands on experience in Unsecured Asset Underwriting, Policy Design, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Management, Credit Analytics and Collections Management.
During her tenor, she has implemented an automated decisioning platform to enable straight through processing of high-volume small ticket loans. Had managed 2 major crises affecting the industry and firm namely Demonetization and Covid wave 1- built the collections infrastructure from ground up; enabled teams, collection systems, processes, practices, and policies to effectively control credit costs. She has also worked on building the credit policies for new businesses like personal loans and two-wheeler loans.
She was the convenor of Management Credit Risk Committee and a member of the Risk Management Committee.

A professional with Eye for Detail, strong Compliance adherence and Tech driven approach. She has done her MBA from SDM-IMD, Mysore in Finance.

Personally, she is passionate about dancing, loves to explore new South Indian food joints, travel to beach destinations and watching series, movies, and soap operas.
