Rajat Singh
Rajat is a financial inclusion professional with 16 years of experience across multiple functional domains. He was part of Ujjivan Small Finance bank from early days where he helped build & scale Micro-lending business across India, incubated new initiatives like Analytics & Personal Loan business and led key transitions at the Bank. He is an alumni of IIT Kharagpur.
Rajat has 16 years of experience with Ujjivan small finance bank. During this period, has handled multiple leadership roles across finance, Strategy & Business. In his last role, he was managing the microfinance business which account for more than 75% of Ujjivan loan portfolio and around 10% of its deposit base. He was also part of a 4-member team which oversaw the transition of Ujjivan NBFC into Small finance bank. In his role as Head- New Initiatives, he also built the Personal Loan business, Analytics & digital function in Ujjivan from scratch. He was convener of Product & process approval committee of the bank and was member of key decision-making committees such as ALCO, CSR, and customer service committee of the bank.
He has done his engineering in Agriculture & food engineering from IIT Kharagpur and is alumni of prestigious Netarhat school, Jharkhand. He loves traveling, watching movies, and reading books. His favorite genre is history, mythology, politics, and geopolitics.
